Information about Street Drugs and Naloxone Training
Attendance is a personal choice. Everyone in the family/home is welcome to attend, however it is up to the parents/guardian as to your kids/teenagers attending (keep in mind there is no childcare; parents/guardians are responsible for your children while there).
- information on the different street drugs, the effects and what to look for
- identifying an overdose
- what to do in the event of an overdose
- practice using a needle (not on a person but on an orange)
- have your questions answered
Should you wish, you can attend only the information portion of the evening. Naloxone kits and a “small portable” needle disposal case will be available for everyone at the end of the session. These are free.
This is a FREE presentation open to ALL individuals in Belvedere and Balwin.
