Great News!

Belvedere Community League has received a CFEP (Community Facility Enhancement Program) grant from the Provincial Government in the amount of $125,000 for the Playground Redevelopment Project. Estimated Construction Schedule/Timeline: Tender (site work) – Spring 2017 Construction Summer – Fall 2017 Opening – Late Fall 2017 The city would like to start playground construction once school is out since the playground is in very close proximity to the school.

The project includes replacing the equipment within the existing playground footprint, replacing the existing sand surface to three types of surfaces in different areas: engineered wood fibre, rubber and sand.
